THANK YOU!

Definitely a huge step in the right direction.

City names are too big, some cover three counties. Maybe a dot for the actual city center? And maybe the airlines three letter convention instead of names?

Also, one city name (Grand Rapids - GRR) on my map (49442 - Muskegon - MKG) is mostly blocked off.

There will be more comments, something else is off, but I'll need a few days . . .

Go ahead guys and gals, open up a cold one and celebrate a job well done. Congratulations all around!

I agree! The maps are better. Still not as good as they once were, but a meaningful step in the right direction.

Best of all, I feel like the folks at WB have been paying attention.

We are trying and the maps are not finished. As more constructive feedback comes in, we will be continuing with the changes. Smile

Uggggg! Why can't they be as good as they once were. Sure it's a step in the right direction.... I just wish I knew why they cant tell us why they had to get rid of a good thing. SO many posts wishing it was like it used to be, and they are working SO hard to make it like it used to be. There has to be a reason that they have to try to recreate the old maps instead of using them.

There has been new technology added recently that made the switch needed from a background perspective. It's been painful for everyone, but we are bending over backwards to gather all constructive, specific itemized feedback to make sure our engineers can address things asap.

And as you might have noticed, there are a lot of posts (other threads) from me asking about specific ways we can bring back the over all feel that users have been asking for.

We are addressing stuff like zoom, local/metro, and so on. Color schemes are also being brought back to look more like the old maps as well.

If we are missing something specific, chances are I can pass your itemized feedback along so we can get things back to where they should be for you.

If you cruise some of the other posts, you will be able to see some of the other feedback that has already been implemented.

Thanks! Smile

Haven't been on WB for a week, struggling with another
Weather App - just popped in to see if anything new.

Unfortunately SOS, nothing new nor reverted to the old tried and true maps.

Later!!!!!

Actually as stated in other threads - the changes are fluid, we are totally open to specific changes to make things more usable. I realize this is not happening as fast as we might like, but we are working on a number of suggestions as I type this.

If you need to move on, I am sorry to hear that but do understand. If however, you have new feedback or features you would like to see, we are as before, quite open to them.
