You can now buy "vouchers" to search on what for me is the best UK site, www.ancestry.co.uk it is amazing and has now got records up to 31st December 2005, it's really easy to use as well. If you would like me to find the death registration details for you, you can post their names as they are deceased. You can also email me through my profile if you prefer that.
Weather App - just popped in to see if anything new.

Unfortunately SOS, nothing new nor reverted to the old tried and true maps.
Later!!!!!

Actually as stated in other threads - the changes are fluid, we are totally open to specific changes to make things more usable. I realize this is not happening as fast as we might like, but we are working on a number of suggestions as I type this.

If you need to move on, I am sorry to hear that but do understand. If however, you have new feedback or features you would like to see, we are as before, quite open to them.

                                      Still... cannot "locate me".

I have BB maps installed and it can find me.

GPS is on.

WB elite is just stuck on Locating...

I can press cancel and then get the hard - coded locations that I've set up.

So, while not critical, since I purchased the full version - I'd really like it to work.

What's my next troubleshooting step?

I did pass on your initial feedback directly to the CTO - top of the food chain here. More changes are coming, hang in there. If you have other specific issues not addressed yet, bullet point them here so I can have the engineers looking at them asap.

So long as people can provide specific feedback, we can do this.
For a few days the contrast was much better with good color back at least but now its a disgusting dark gray for metro and local and of course still not zooming in like it did before it went to BING. Its worse than ever.

HELP US

Few others have mentioned this as well. Still working to get the local/metro stuff back how it was - it's getting there. So if the gray continues, email me directly mhartley@weatherbug.com - I will see who I can ask about the issue.

Glad I could help. I ended up switching to the Google WeatherBug Sidebar Gadget since it seems to be a little more useful than the GNU/Linux version of the Bug (IMO). If you use the Google Gadgets for Linux you may want to consider using the sidebar gadget as well. The main problem I have with the sidebar is that it keeps getting in my way but I found clicking the Minimize icon on the sidebar itself kicks it out of the way.

My local hasn't been 'local' for awhile now. At first, my village (Cold Spring, NY, a village about 75 miles north of NYC) wasn't even on it. The local map now has zoomed out some to the point that Philadelphia & Wilkes-Barre, PA are both on my 'local' map, along with Danbury, CT.

I missed those detail images on thunderstorms that occasionally knock-out my DirecTV. I used to be able to gauge how long it would last. Now I can't.

Well, I lost WeatherBug in my upgrade. When I re-installed and added my saved activation code - it's working fine.

Other then re-installing a few dozen programs and restoring my LAN the way I like it, the upgrade been smooth. Even the installation of the Win7Pro XP Emulator went without a hitch. Now I can retire my old XP laptop.

I was using free Weatherbug on my Blackberry Storm, but it stopped working when I installed OS 5.0. So I bought Weatherbug Elite. It seems to work fine, but my old RADAR used to be somewhat transparent so I could see the map through the weather overlay. Now I cannot see anything through the weather which makes it impossible to know where I am on the map. Is there a setting somewhere to increase the transparency of the weather overlay?

I know that WeatherBug (and other weather apps) are updating on .328 for many people. For some reason, I am having a problem with WB Elite. Since moving from .323 to .328 my WeatherBug Elite icon just remains a BUG. It doesn't show temp or conditions on the icon, nor does it show the temp on the thermometer at the top of the screen. I tried uninstalling WB and reinstalling and reactivating it and then icon is still remains a BUG.
BerryWeather is updating fine (don't ask why I have both - they do different things well....)

Moving the icon around doesn't work, besides it is a different problem than what we were seeing on .323.....

Any suggestions?
I have put in my activation code and if I click on the WB icon, the app opens and functions normally. Just the icon is not changing from bug to weather....
